Michael A. Ostrander

Michael Ostrander joined Wilson & Ratledge in May 2008 and practices within both of the firm's major departments, with an emphasis on civil litigation. Mr. Ostrander's litigation practice includes commercial litigation, construction litigation, lien prosecution and defense, trade secret disputes, and business tort litigation.

Mr. Ostrander received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Secondary Education, cum laude, from Elmira College in Elmira, New York. After graduation, and prior to attending law school, Mr. Ostrander was a U.S. History teacher and tennis instructor in upstate New York. Mr. Ostrander received his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. While at Cooley, Mr. Ostrander served as an Associate Editor for the Law Journal and was a top ten advocate in the Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining Wilson and Ratledge, Mr. Ostrander was associated with the law firm Binder and Binder, P.C. in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mr. Ostrander resides with his wife Marni, son Zackary and daughter Zoe in Apex, North Carolina.
