Jamie Ratledge is a co-founder and managing partner of Wilson & Ratledge. Mr. Ratledge advises and defends businesses and corporations in workers' compensation claims, employment benefit matters, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Ratledge is widely recognized as one of North Carolina's leading attorneys in the area of workers' compensation. From 2006 until 2010, he was recognized as a North Carolina “Super Lawyer” by a national periodical which recognizes the top 5% of the state's attorneys based upon a statewide poll of practicing attorneys. He was also recognized in the Corporate Counsel Edition as a lawyer for business litigation. He has earned Martindale-Hubbell's "AV" rating, the highest possible rating from the only nationally recognized rating system for lawyers. Mr. Ratledge is also a DRC Certified Mediator.

Mr. Ratledge graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts. While in college, he received the President's Scholarship and was a Lyndon Banes Johnson Scholar. After graduation, Mr. Ratledge worked for United States Representative James McClure Clarke, D-NC, in Washington, D.C. Thereafter, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor.

Mr. Ratledge is the developer and editor of Carolina-Comp, the workers' compensation news service for risk managers. He has lectured and taught extensively on workers' compensation to state and local governments, industrial and manufacturing associations, business owners and management, risk managers, adjusters, and medical professionals.
